Alan A. Symonette is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Villanova University School of Law. He is a former NLRB field attorney and in-house labor counsel. Currently, he is a permanent arbitrator under several national agreements including many in telecommunications, airlines, steel, and tire. In the public sector, he is the arbitrator at Tennessee Valley Authority (Power), at Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, among others. His work in Major League baseball is also highly regarded. He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and a fellow of the ABA College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
