Kathleen Miller, President of the National Academy of Arbitrators 2017-2018, is based in Philadelphia. She has been a full-time labor and employment arbitrator and mediator since 1987 and has served on numerous permanent panels in the private and public sectors, including in the steel, shipbuilding, soda ash, rubber and iron ore industries, as well as transit, education and state and municipal government. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she has taught courses in ADR in the Workplace at her alma mater, as well as the Pennsylvania State University, and she has appeared as guest lecturer at the Georgetown University Law Center and Yale Law School.
