FACULTY
The faculty members are highly respected labor arbitrators and teachers. Richard Adelman was a teaching fellow at Stanford Law School and an attorney with the NRLB. For the past 30 years, he has been a popular labor arbitrator based in New York City. John Cochran has taught at Suffolk University and Boston College law schools, and is a former chief counsel at the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission. He is one of the longest serving labor arbitrators in New England. Walt DeTreux is a prominent labor arbitrator on several panels in the public and private sector on the East Coast. He previously worked as a labor attorney in Philadelphia. Joan Parker was a professor at Rutgers University. During that time and since taking emeritus status, she has been the umpire under several national agreements and is considered one of the top labor arbitrators in the country.
