Is Continuing Legal Education credit available? How many units for each conference?
Yes, CLE credit is available. The number of credits varies from state to state and from program to program. Make your request for CLE credits for a particular state (or states) on your registration form and we will make the necessary arrangements for those credits (in some cases this may be after the conference concludes).
Who do I contact for CLE/HRCI Credit Information?
Attorneys and HR professionals are eligible to earn CE credit. Earn credits that are affordable, improve your skills, and add to your knowledge base.
If you are an attorney, the number of credits earned varies from state to state. Please indicate on the registration form the state(s) in which you hold a license.
All of our programs are approved for recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR certification through the HR Certification Institute. We are also recognized by SHRM to offer professional development credits (PDCs). For more information about certification or recertification, please visit the HRCI website at www.hrci.org or the SHRM website at www.shrmcertification.org.
I would like to take advantage of early registration but my payment will not be sent by the deadline. Can I still get the lower rate if I have my registration in by deadline?
As long as we receive your registration form by the early registration date, we will honor the lower rate. You may register on line, by fax or mail. You may make payment by check, credit card or PO. Please include your registration information with your payment. Contact the registrar if you are unable to make your payment within 30 days of your registration.
I am registering more than 10 people from our organization, but the online form only includes space for 10. What should I do?
There are two options. Either complete multiple online registration forms or it may be easier to complete a handwritten registration form and attach a list of all attendees. This can be faxed to 507-645-2474 or mailed to our office.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is to refund your registration in full for those cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the conference. A $50 late cancellation fee is charged for those cancellations made within 14 days of the conference. Alternatives to a refund are sending a substitute, requesting conference materials in lieu of a refund, or requesting credit toward a future conference. Credit toward a future conference must be requested prior to the conference date and used within a 24-month period of the initial payment date. After 24 months, the credit will expire. *Please note for New York, a program that routinely sells out, our cancellation policy is slightly different. Refer to this conference brochure for complete information.
Can a substitution be made?
Substitutions are accepted at any time. If you are making a substitution on the day of the conference, please let the registrars at the registration table know who you are and for whom you are subbing. Otherwise, please call or email us with the conference city, the name of the person registered and the name of the substitute.
We registered online and paid by credit card. Will we receive an invoice?
No, the paid confirmation was generated online at checkout. If you have further questions or concerns, please send a message to registrar@laborarb.com.
Can we use a Payment Voucher or a Purchase Order with the registration form?
Yes. Please be sure to include your Payment Voucher or Purchase Order instructions so that we can ensure your payment.
How should I dress?
Dress is business casual. Large conference rooms can be very chilly or, conversely, overheated. We have limited or no control over the facility’s climate. Because meeting room temperature may vary, we suggest you dress in layers and come prepared for both a cool or warm room.
Where can I eat lunch?
Lunch is on your own. All of our conference venues are located near great restaurant options.
